a bit more about me
a bit more about me
Hi! I am Tess,
I relate to being a multitude of things. But mostly I feel like I am a singer, a dancer, a teacher, a student and a passionate believer in Love and Life.
With everything I do I hope to inspire you, for that inspires me on a deep level. Making a real difference for each other is something I highly value. Touching or opening your heart in a healing way is what I am most committed to. And activating aliveness within myself as in people around me feels like a very fun, energising and natural thing for me to do. Isn’t life all about that? Being alive.
I believe so. I want to live my life fully, openly, wildly and in love. It is an absolute honour to be alive and I believe that if we start to see and feel it this way, beautiful things have (and get) space to grow, flow, be created and shared. And I am a full body YES to that! Living our full potential as much as possible.
My parents told me that on my birthday, I came out of my mom with two big, blue, widespread, open eyes. This is how I entered my life and still live it: awake, curious and mesmerised by its beauty and wonders. As a child but now also as a grown woman, I see and want to see life as an endless playground of possibilities. From the life of nature to the lives of people, plants and animals around us. From the concept of ideas and dreams to the concept of creation and manifestation. It fascinates me, a true sense of magic is never far away.
As a highly sensitive person I have also known periods in which I deeply struggled with life and of course, I still do at times. Now I know that’s called being a human being. I had to go through a few dark times to figure that out though. As life is balanced by polarities and dualities, shadow sides are part of our human experiences. For me, learning how to navigate those moments is difficult but also one of the most precious practises of all, full of hidden treasures that want to be seen. To shine a light in the dark. From experience to experience, we learn. We grow, we get hurt, fall in love, or on our face. And than... we'll get back on our feet again. We live and evolve, grow and rise. Step by step. Day by day. That’s what makes us so resilient and special.
To me, life on earth feels like a true wonder. And being alive on earth is a wonder that I love to remind myself and others of. There is an endless possibility of creation and an ever changing movement to life that inspires me deeply. I’m passionate about living this life: Awake. With eyes wide open, a sharp and open mind and a warm and loving heart. I practise what I preach and love to share that with you!
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
